Fitness in the Park ("we", "us", "our") operates this website, digital memberships, on-demand workout videos, training programs, downloadable guides, and free community features. We act as the data controller of personal data collected through the service. Contact: danariuscoleman2@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), profile details.
- Intake questionnaire: goals, training history, and any information you voluntarily provide to personalize your digital training experience.
- Purchase data: memberships, videos, digital programs, or downloadable guides purchased.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, basic telemetry.
- Payment data: handled directly by Paddle — see Sharing below.
3. How we use it
- Create and operate your account and membership.
- Deliver workout videos, digital training programs, downloadable guides, and member features.
- Process payments and fulfill purchases.
- Provide customer support.
- Improve and secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse.
- Send service messages and, with your consent, marketing emails.
4. Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (delivering what you signed up for), legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving the service), consent (e.g. marketing emails), and legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only with:
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, who processes payments, handles tax, billing, invoicing, refunds, and subscription management.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store data and run the service on our behalf.
- Email and analytics providers used for transactional messages and basic product analytics.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
